With over 20 years of experience, Shanthi is the founder of Ajara Ayurvedic Wellness Center. She is an Ayurvedacharya from the University of Madras, India where she served both as a Professor and medical officer. Before moving to Canada, Shanthi was head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the renowned college for Ayurveda, Sri Jayendrasaraswathi Ayurveda College, India.

Her objective, while living and working in Toronto, has been to make a difference in the Holistic Health Care System by applying her education and professional wisdom. She has conducted lectures for students and the general public about the values of this ancient science. She has presented at The Andrea Olivera Center in Toronto, and the Canada Customs and Revenue Department in Mississauga.

Vaidya Namrata Savekar holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in India. Before moving to Canada, Namrata was practicing at Sane Care Ayurvedic Hospital, Mumbai, India and treated clients using Panchakarma Therapies. She has a three years of experience in Herbal Medicines and Panchkarma treatments, as well as experience in various Ayurvedic treatments such as Snehan, Swedana, Basti, head massage, Shirodhara, and more. She underwent additional training in Panchakarma from Madhavbaug Ayurvedic Cardiac Rehabilitation center, Maharashtra, India and is certified in Clinic Research from the Symbiosis University of Pune, India.

Partha Subramanian RMT has more than 10 years experience as a practicing Massage Therapist and have taken numerous courses in addition to the original basic training. Massage helps with the following conditions to name a few: CHRONIC FATIGUE AND FIBROMYALGIA, MIGRAINE HEADACHES

Massage Treatments primarily aims to:
•    Improve circulation
•    Reduce overall stress levels
•    Improve immune system function
•    Reduce tension in muscles

For many involved in chemical and emotional recovery massage is a new experience that offers safe, nurturing touch. Massage also enhances the chemical detoxification process as it speeds up metabolism by increasing circulation. He will be incorporating Ayurveda deep tissue massage (abayanga) at our center.
