We recommend that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to your treatment and 5 minutes before consultations or follow-ups in order to complete the necessary paperwork, change, and get settled before we get started.
For your first consultation, come with a light stomach and a relaxed mind. For a treatment session, please come with a light stomach and scarf or cap to cover your head after the treatment. We will provide a towel, body wash and shampoo – you are also welcome to bring your own.
Most body treatments are performed on the whole body without clothing. We provide clients with a wrap and the therapist will leave the room to allow you some privacy to remove your clothing and lie down on the treatment bed. You will be covered with a towel during most treatments and only the part of your body being treated will be exposed. Undergarments may be worn if preferred and disposable undergarments are also available.
Yes, you may take a bath or shower before a treatment. We advise not to come for a treatment with wet hair, especially for Shirodhara or Indian head massage. As you will be massaged with special herbs and oils, please do not wear perfume, heavy aftershave, or strongly scented lotions that might interfere with the treatment.
All the therapies are administered by the practitioners themselves, any adverse reactions will be taken care of immediately.
Unless being treated for health issues related to the menstrual cycle, we do not advise being treated during the first three days of your cycle.
Yes, if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or are taking medication, please let us know before the start of any treatment.
We recommend leaving personal belongings and valuables at home. We do provide a lock box with a key for personal effects. Please note that we are not liable for items that are damaged, lost, or stolen.
We ask that you turn your cell phone off upon entering the center to prevent disruption of services and also to focus on the concepts explained during a consultation and receive the full benefits of treatments.
We ask for 48 hours notice of cancellation for Saturday and evening appointments and 24 hours notice of cancellation before weekday appointments. We reserve the right to charge a $25 fee for same day cancellations.
